In the fall of 2008 Ron was cast in the Universal Pictures feature film “The Express.”

It’s the story of the first black NFL player to win the Heisman Trophy Award. Hawking portrays the part of the Syracuse University play-by-play booth announcer. “The Express” stars actor Dennis Quaid.
